What awaits you

We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Developer to join the project team responsible for the migration of a people management system. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based applications, ensuring technical excellence and high-quality deliverables across both backend and frontend components.Development and maintenance of high-performance backend systems with Spring Boot and Java 21 (or older, at least Java 8)

Lead the development and maintenance of backend services using Java, Spring Boot, OpenAPI, Cucumber
Drive frontend development using Angular, Typescript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Ensure smooth integration within the Cloudfoundry environment
Design and manage database solutions with MongoDB and PostgresDB
Implement secure authentication and authorization using Keycloak
Maintain code quality and compliance using tools like Maven, Sonar, Mend, Fortify
Set up monitoring and observability through Grafana
Build event-driven architectures using Kafka
Apply structured architectural practices (e.g., Arc42) to deliver scalable solutions
Collaborate in version control and CI/CD workflows using GitHub
Provide technical guidance, coaching, and support to team members

Your profile

Must-haves:

Several years of professional experience as a Fullstack Developer in senior or lead roles
Strong backend development expertise: Java, Spring Boot, OpenAPI, Cucumber
Solid frontend development skills: Angular, Typescript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially Cloudfoundry
Strong knowledge of databases: MongoDB, PostgresDB
Familiarity with security frameworks like Keycloak
Experience using CI/CD and code quality tools (Maven, Sonar, Mend, Fortify)
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana
Knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka
Understanding of architectural frameworks like Arc42
Fluent German language skills (written and spoken); English is a plus

Additional Advantage:

Prior experience in migration projects, particularly the migration of complex systems or applications

Was dich erwartet

Entwicklung und Wartung von hochperformanten Backend-Systemen mit Spring Boot und Java 21 (oder älter, mindestens Java 8)
Entwurf und Implementierung von RESTful APIs unter Verwendung von OpenAPI
Datenbankmodellierung und -optimierung mit SQL-Datenbanken (bevorzugt PostgreSQL)
Containerisierung und Deployment mit Docker
Sicherstellung von Code-Qualität durch Tests, Reviews und Best Practices
Dokumentation von Systemarchitekturen und Entwicklungsprozessen mit Jira und Confluence
Zusammenarbeit mit interdisziplinären Teams zur Optimierung von Entwicklungsprozessen

Was wir von dir erwarten

Must-have:

Fundierte Erfahrung in der Entwicklung mit Spring Boot und Java 8+ (bestenfalls 21)
Sicherer Umgang mit SQL-Datenbanken, idealerweise PostgreSQL
Kenntnisse in OpenAPI und Entwicklung von REST-Schnittstellen
Erfahrung mit Docker und containerisierten Anwendungen
Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
Grundkenntnisse in Jira und Confluence

Nice-to-have:

Erfahrung mit Kubernetes zur Orchestrierung von Containern
Kenntnisse in SOAP-Schnittstellen
Erfahrung mit Kafka zur asynchronen Nachrichtenverarbeitung
Vertrautheit mit arc42 für Architektur-Dokumentation
Grundkenntnisse in modernen JavaScript Web-Frameworks (Vue.js, Angular oder React)
